Smart Routes to School is a program for elementary school students           Students fill in daily trip diaries and compete with other schools to see who can bike and walk the most trips instead of riding in cars           Last week, a student from Regency Park (K-6) won a $10 Fandango Gift Card for filling in his or her diary!
   
 

Smart Routes to School is a program designed to reduce personal auto school trips, improve safety of students traveling to and from school (especially those traveling by non-motorized means), and build physical activity and independence into the daily routines of students.

Smart Routes to School is a program designed to reduce personal auto school trips along the 50 Corridor, improve safety of students traveling to and from school (especially those traveling by non-motorized means), and build physical activity and independence into the daily routines of students. The program is managed by the 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association and directed by a volunteer Oversight Committee. The program is funded by the following sponsors: Kaiser Permanente, AKT Development, the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, and the El Dorado County Air Quality Management District.
